Karnal Roasts at 43 Degrees

Roasting Heat:
If Wednesday was bad,Thursday was worse. The mercury rose from a terrible 42.1 degrees Celsius to a cruel 43 degrees Celsius in Karnal.
And there is no end in sight yet to the punishing heat.

The minimum temperature also rose to 26.8 degrees Celsius, up from 26.1 degrees Celsius. Both the maximum and minimum temperatures are hovering at seven degrees above normal.

The sizzling heat left the roads and business places almost empty as people preferred to sit in the comfort of their homes. Coolers and ACs also failed to bring much relief to the people.

Power Cuts:
To add to the discomfort level, the power supply of the region is also not proper. In Karnal city there is a power cut of more then 6-8hrs.
God knows what will happen after the Elections...!!!
