Many parts of northern India reeled under biting cold conditions as dense fog engulfed Punjab and Haryana with Amritsar registering a minimum temperature of 1.6 degrees Celsius.Karnal experienced a cold night at 3.6 degrees C, three degrees below normal.
Picture shows Nirmal Kutia Chowk at 8:00 pm with vehicals facing visibility less then 2 mts. due to heavy Fog.
